Publicity week
for some reason or another, i was afraid of going to the roadshow. there was this very bad 'sinking feeling'.. i was being very pessimistic. somehow at the back of my mind, i kinda knew the outcome will be bad.. really bad
the first hr was horrible (somehow predicted). we were ignored, no one signed up, familiar faces passed by one after another, the weirdo laughs to himself and scares the rest, luck was definitely not on our side..
KPI of 180 was totally impossible. why did they even come out with that kinda figure? nutties..
but we still manage a 75 sign up. not too bad i say.
i rather we have a small amt of pple who are really interested to sign up den having friends who sign up out of support.
but still, despite the over whelming response, i still hoping we can move at least a tour to beijing and vietnam. i'm keeping my hopes up.

out of the 75++ only 30 agreed to come.

but seriously, out of this 30+, wad will be the actual figure that will really turn up?
i remember sitting infront of the computer that whole morning after what seems the collide of ideas between the 2 ladies~

redo the animation
i tot my butt was going to be permanently stuck to the seat after that.
the whole layout was still kinda flat..
but den again. it's over!! sticks out tongue
we had 3 dreadful sessions.
my 6 sense was unfortunately rite. only 7 turn up for the first session. wahahaa.
wad a turn out.
if u ask me, numbers is not what really matters. like i said, i rather had this few pple who are really interested to know more than those who sign up just for the sake of signing up. yah?
the 2nd session was all rite. i almost threw up on the 3rd though. the monkeys made me super duper nervous...
a shout out to rene!! =) saw u clapping for me after i said i was the emcee. hee. i was really touched!!
and to our part-timer, mr man. thankyou for coming to both sessions!! =)
and i tot i was finally prepared to ans any qns from the floor. opps~
instead i went totally BLANK..

hey. it's not that we didn't publicise well or tat we didn't do our best. the response was just... not good.
come to think about it, i guess last yr's tprd didn't fair tat well either tat's well they engaged PEMs to send 10 per class to attend their travel seminar (how i know? i was one of the 10..)
we are not alone
this time round, the higher levels are also engaging the help of PEMs to hopefully get a better response as we continue to do another round of road show and travel seminar.
i'm hoping for the best!! =)

though i'm really reluctant to leave bsu and my lovely tprd. i guess it's time to move on..
i didn't get my first choice, EMRS, budden i'm quite happy to be at MSC.
EHHHHH. however, the major turn off is knowing that i'll be going to Pretty Face.

5) Downtown Escapade
i had fun!! though i wasn't physically prepared and all. i really appreaciate my team mates: the queen, the media player, the bodyguard and the pet for being so patient, understanding and encouraging throughout the entire race!!
wad i felt most was the bonding, the team work and the good times we shared together!! winning would be a great consolation though~~~~ next year yah?
and part 2!! u were great!! ohh ya~ congrates to mr man's team on getting 3rd!! =)
i have complains though!!
there were some screw up stations and bad instructions given tat left me pissed.
one of them was where we needed to find 8 different chinese chess pieces along dragon trail. apparently, information given was not clear and instead of sketching out the letters of the chess pieces, teams plucked out the pieces, brought them to the station master but did not place them back at the correct places.
by the time we were there to search, most of the pieces were gone.
just being there took us 1 hr++.
who would have known there was a mt. imbia in sentosa? goodness. view the window? ohh whoa, i wouldn't have tot of a better clue den them. hooray.
initially, syaz, juls n myself had this very bad sinking feeling at the start of the competition but unexpectedly we got off to a good start and tot we really could win budden due to unforeseen circumstances and how we always seem to get lost.. it was really a huge waste knowing we only had 1 check point left to complete the competition..
den again, looking at the bright side, we did broke record for one of the station!! we hold the record of approximately 2 minutes in the "Rescue the Hostage" game!! =)
it's really at the heat of the competition when u can really see the 'tail' of the evil one coming out. sad to say, i least expected you to be that person but u prove me wrong. you were manipulative and ugly. really ugly. ur expressions said it all though i know u wun admit it. i repeat. u were very U.G.L.Y.
shame on u. go to the nearest wall n reflect.
geez. like i said, i wasn't physically prepared. sooooo no doubts my thighs and calves are aching like mad.
but i'm on leave 2moro!! yeshhhhhhhhhhhhh. for once i can slp late on a weekday....
5) NDP 2006
through a-team, i gotta be part of the NDP action this year as an usher for the VIPs at the grandstand.

not only can i watch the NDP, get free not very pretty uniform, got to celebrate the nation's bday with my frends,
it's gonna be exceptionally special this year cos it's also the last year tat NDP will be celebrated at the national stadium.
i'm gonna have a blast!!
plus ming n hakimberly is there!! how cool is dat? ;)
ohhh~ after that will be the IMF duty. can't wait!!
